100 Fanart Challenge 28. Vocaloid - Hatsune Miku

(late) Birthday gift for :iconnuxi-chan: :D hope you like it!!!

I've wanted to make a Vocaloid fanart for AGES, but it's so difficult to come along with new things with Vocaloid.... pretty much everything has been done already...

I tried to go with a cabaret and vintage style.... the curtain was inspired from a curtain on Cabaret Maxime, in Lisbon, and it all started there. wanted a realistic, high contrast feeling.... hope I managed to do it ^^;

I'm really proud of this one. took some time, but it was totally worth it!!! :D :D

(and I may edit it a bit after trying it on other screen.... mine is a bit off balanced... we'll see ^^; )

This is a hell of an art! It's really a masterpiece!

Starting by the colors, the blues were well chosen, the shadows have great contrast, realism and also they make a superb contrast with the background. Talking about it, I love the curtain very much, the smoothness relaxes me and the pattern combines very well with the character and theme.

Moving to the lines, personally, they are great, they get unnoticed and that makes a stupendous realism. Some people prefer thicker lines but that only takes the realism away and that's not what the Artist wanted here.

The character's proportions get 5 stars, the rose makes my hand extend to get it because of how realistic it is and the microphone, well, I think drawing a metallic object is no piece of cake so this proves more that this is a professional Art were talking about here.

Concluding, this is a golden piece of art the came from a "Golden Art Chest" and I hope to see more from the Artist.
